About Us

CASA of CGS is part of a national network of nonprofits that trains and mobilizes community changers to be a voice in court for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

CASA of CGS has over 150 active volunteers who come from all walks of life. They span all age ranges. Some are just beginning in the workforce, and others are retired. Over half of CASA of CGS volunteers work full-time and have families. Some have backgrounds in the criminal justice system, social work, or child welfare. Other volunteers have no such experience at all.

As a CASA volunteer, whether an advocate or a Board member, you will provide invaluable support to your community's most vulnerable children, helping them achieve permanency and setting them up for a successful future.

"Knowing that I'm making a positive impact on a child's life is so rewarding"

Vinnie, CASA of CGS Volunteer Advocate
